Drip-irrigated Irish potato farming in the heart of Zambia — from our rich soil to tables across the region, and a fresh new market for the world's best seed.
Pateer Farm is a commercial Irish-potato farm in Zambia, run by Alfred Saleh. We grow on deep, fertile, dark soil under full drip irrigation — and we extend our reach through outgrower schemes that bring small and medium farmers into the harvest.
Everything we show is our own ground, our own crop, and our own team — real fields, real potatoes, grown with care and multiplied season after season.
A working farm, this season — irrigation lines, healthy canopy, and clean potatoes coming out of the ground.

Our potatoes don't stop at the farm gate. Through Foodies Enterprise Zambia Ltd., our harvest is washed, graded and packed as 10 kg "Proudly Zambian" retail packs — carefully selected, clean, and ready for every Zambian meal.
It's a complete chain: we grow it, and our distribution partner puts it on shelves — fresh, nutritious, and 100% Zambian.
Demand is climbing, certified seed is scarce, and Zambia sits at the crossroads of southern Africa. That's the opportunity — and Pateer Farm is your partner on the ground.
